Charitable Purpose Statement
Northwest Foundation of Washington conducts studies and analysis to help ensure that the housing and language learning needs of immigrant families and individuals are addressed. We will also develop and/or participate in academic studies to alleviate poverty, particularly among working immigrant families.
The above statement is, as filed and accepted by the State of Washington, Secretary of State Division of Charities.
Northwest Foundation of Washington is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, more specifically to provide multicultural social services, basic needs program development
and affordable housing education for immigrants disabled and low income individuals. To this end, the corporation shall at all times be operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended.
